Cheddar Biscuits & Chili
Hero Cheddar Biscuits make the perfect accompaniment to this hearty beef chili. Serve with a toppings bar to let your whole crew customize to their hearts' content.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place biscuits on a baking sheet.

Wrap all biscuits with foil. Make sure the foil opens up on top.

Bake biscuits for about 15 minutes. Pull biscuits out of the oven and open the
foil to expose biscuit tops.

Brush the tops of cheddar biscuits with butter or ghee. Put biscuits back in the
oven for about 5-10 minutes or until the tops are golden. Take biscuits out of the
oven, and cool on a rack.

Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet and place over medium heat. Add onion/
peppers/garlic and saute until the onions are translucent. Add ground beef and
brown.

Add tomato paste, chopped tomatoes, stock and all seasonings. Reduce heat
to low.

Cover up the pan and let the chili simmer for 2 hours or until it thickens.

Pour the chili into bowls. Remove foil on baked biscuits and add to chili.

Garnish with sour cream, red onions, shredded cheese, or parsley.
